The Sign Language Center was established to bridge the communication gap between the hearing and Deaf communities by creating a comfortable and interactive environment. All instructors at the center are “Native” Deaf individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. They aim to educate students about ASL and Deaf culture in a non-competitive, conversational setting. Prospective students are encouraged to join the center for a fun-filled learning experience.

Golden Harvest Bakery and Cafe is a Deaf owned, family owned business located in Rochester, New York. In March 2022, the lease for their Union Street location came to an end, resulting in the closure of their doors in Scottsville. Fortunately, through the connection of one of their customers, a new building in Henrietta was provided. After undergoing 2.5 months of renovations and cleaning, Golden Harvest Bakery and Cafe successfully opened their doors on Jefferson Road in June 2022.
